This downtown Los Angeles preschool is for children ages 3 months to 5 years. The ask was that the space be stimulating for young kids but also a pleasant environment for parents and teachers.

We focused on calming pastel colors and blonde wood tones, as brighter colors are proven to be overstimulating for kids. We included lots of storage for books and toys, biophillic design featuring trees, clouds and windows, a multi-purpose room for kids of all ages, sensory textures, and a luxurious lounge for teachers.
