laurel canyon remodel

A young couple moved into a 1950s ranch house in Laurel Canyon. Our goal for the remodel was to blend their two styles so the home would be a mix of vintage and modern. We also wanted to expand the kitchen, add more windows and natural light (i.e. sky lights), and have areas for hosting friends.

One client runs her jewelry design business from home so we turned the third bedroom into an office that included a gem safe hidden closet, lighting to display her designs, and loads of work space. The other works from home occasionally so we added a semi-private work space in the bedroom hallway.
